The year 1985  the Delorean became n legend in the movie (Back to the Future) When the 1981 Delorean DMC -12'S was turned into a time machine ,With a fictional device called a flux capacitor that give the car ability to travel back and forth in time, All together 6 cars were used on the movie set. 5 real cars and one fiberglass, For the flying scenes

In the sequel, Things really got interesting when the DeLorean is turned into a flying car,And instead of traveling back in time.(Marty McFly, played by Micheal j Fox .and Christopher Lloyd ass Dr Emmett ) Travels into the future to the year 2053 

 

In the third and last movie thay travil back in time to the year 1885 for a real wild west adventure

The DeLorean time machine became one of the most famous cars in movies history
