HOT WHEELS VS MATCHBOX

             Matchbox diecast carsInspired by the rules of schools That all toys must be small enough to fit in a matchbox( Leslie smith and Jack Odell) The founders of Lesney products created the first matchbox cars
In 19Julie1953 ,The first matchbox cars were made , they were made to look more realistic, Where Hot Wheels was focusing on faster cars and on fantasy cars , using guitar strings as axles.
In 1968 the first Hot Wheels were made, but before Mettal (The creator of Hot Wheels) owned Matchbox ,The toy cars whas part of  other toy groups (Dinki , universal toys and tyco toys)After Lensley went bankrupt in 1982
Then in 1997 Mettal bought Matchbox a still manufacturers Matchbox cars
    In 2023 Matchbox celebrated there there 70ts year anniversary with some old and new cars
.      matchbox continues to expand
